OMG — Original Marketing Game ("OMG", "we", "our") is an AI marketing operating system for founders, operated by Original Marketing Game, a company incorporated and based in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our Service.

Account data: Name, email address, and authentication credentials when you sign up.

Profile data: Information you provide during onboarding — your company name, industry, product description, target audience, and Voice Profile inputs (writing samples, quiz answers, goals).

Content data: All content generated by OMG on your behalf, including LinkedIn posts, blog drafts, campaign briefs, and newsletters — stored in your account.

Usage data: Actions you take in the Service (content generated, features used, credits consumed), timestamps, and basic analytics for improving the product.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and session data collected automatically when you use the Service.

Payment data: Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card details on our servers. We only receive subscription status and an anonymised customer reference to manage your plan.

• To provide the Service: Your Voice Profile data is used to generate personalised content via our AI engine. It is sent to the AI model solely to fulfil your generation requests.
• To improve your experience: Usage patterns help us understand which features are most valuable and improve content quality over time.
• To communicate with you: We send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, support responses) via our email delivery provider. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
• To enforce our Terms: We may use data to detect abuse, scraping, or violations of our Terms of Service.
• Analytics: We use a product analytics tool to understand how founders use OMG. This data is anonymised and aggregated wherever possible.
• Legal and compliance: We may process data to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests from authorities, and enforce our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not use your Voice Profile, inputs, or generated content to train AI models.

We use trusted third-party services to operate OMG. Each handles only the data necessary for its function:

• Authentication and data storage: Your account credentials, profile data, and generated content are stored securely in cloud infrastructure hosted on Google's platform.
• AI content generation: Your Voice Profile inputs and writing prompts are sent to our AI provider solely to generate your content. They are not used to train models or shared with third parties beyond what is required to fulfil your request.
• Payment processing: Payments and subscription management are handled by a third-party payment processor. Your card details are processed directly by them and never stored on our servers.
• Email delivery: Transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, support) are delivered via a third-party email service. Only your email address is shared for this purpose.
• Social scheduling (optional): If you connect your LinkedIn account for post scheduling or analytics, that data is handled via a third-party scheduling service. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.
• Hosting and infrastructure: The Service is hosted on a cloud platform. Server logs may capture IP addresses and request data for security and uptime monitoring.

We do not engage in visitor de-anonymisation, behavioural remarketing, or targeted advertising of any kind. We do not share your data with advertisers.

Original Marketing Game is based in India. Our cloud infrastructure and third-party service providers may process your data in countries outside India, including the United States. Data processed in other countries may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your data to and processing in countries outside your country of residence, including countries that may have different data protection standards than your own.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that any international transfer of your personal data is subject to appropriate safeguards, including contractual obligations with our service providers consistent with applicable data protection laws.

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with our legal obligations:

• Account and profile data: Retained for the duration of your account. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
• Generated content: Retained in your account until you delete it or close your account.
• Usage and analytics data: Retained for up to 12 months for product improvement purposes, then aggregated or deleted.
• Financial and billing records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years as required under Indian accounting and tax law.
• Support communications: Retained for up to 3 years for dispute resolution purposes.

Voice Profile data is retained to power ongoing content generation. You may request deletion at any time by contacting consult@originalmarketinggame.com. Deletion of Voice Profile data will affect your ability to use generation features.

Regardless of where you are located, you have the following rights over your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data directly in your account settings or by contacting us.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Portability: Request an export of your generated content and Voice Profile data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to any processing of your data that is not strictly necessary to provide the Service.
• Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal data.

Legal basis for processing:

• Contract performance: Processing your account data and Voice Profile to provide the Service you subscribed to.
• Legitimate interests: Usage analytics for product improvement, security monitoring, and fraud prevention.
• Legal obligation: Retaining financial records as required by applicable law.
• Consent: Sending marketing communications (where applicable). You may withdraw consent at any time.

In addition to the rights listed above, EU/UK users have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. For EU users, this is the supervisory authority in your Member State. For UK users, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

If you are located in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") governs the processing of your personal data.

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of your personal data being processed and the purposes of processing.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Erase your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
• File a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India if you believe your rights have been violated.

OMG uses an HTTP-only session cookie ("__session") to maintain your authenticated session. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and cannot be opted out of while logged in.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioural remarketing tools. Our analytics tool is used for internal product improvement only and does not track you across other websites.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption.
• Session cookies are HTTP-only and secure, preventing client-side access.
• Database security rules ensure users can only access their own data.
• API keys and sensitive credentials are stored as server-side environment variables and never exposed to client-side code.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never defeat our security measures. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to consult@originalmarketinggame.com.

The Service is intended for use by adults (18+) and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us immediately at consult@originalmarketinggame.com and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a prominent notice within the Service before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect when changes were last made. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
